As you've probably seen on my YouTube channel, embracing ultralight backpacking has transformed my adventures. This ultralight hiking backpack is the very pack I've been using on my recent multi-day hunting and fishing trips, and I've been seriously impressed with it for the budget.

What immediately struck me was how lightweight it is, yet it still features a frame, which is crucial for comfort and load transfer on longer treks. It's so much easier to carry than non-framed options, helping to prevent shoulder fatigue. The standout feature for me has been the mesh pockets, especially the large front and side ones. They can swallow a surprising amount of gear, perfect for stashing bulky waterproofs, quick-access layers, or even drying items on the go because they can stretch heaps! Just a heads-up from my experience: be mindful of sharp edges as mesh, by nature, can tear if snagged aggressively. But for sheer accessibility and volume, they're brilliant.

The pack also has plenty of attachment points, making it versatile for carrying extra gear externally. This was my first dedicated ultralight backpacking pack, and honestly, I'm happy with how it's performed and enabled me to go lighter.
